The new Air Optix plus HydraGlyde contact lenses are based on the same unique SmartShield ™ technology that is used in other Air Optix lenses. This technology creates an ultra-thin protective layer around the lens to minimize the number of silicon atoms exposed on its surface.

Provides excellent overall resistance to lipid deposits.
It helps to protect the lens from impurities, such as residues of cosmetics and hand creams.
It is durable and inseparably connected to the lens.
